How to change the key fob battery of a Mercedes B-Class? Follow these steps. Take your ignition key fob and extract the metal key (as shown in the video). Once the metal key is removed, insert it into the plastic key fob space and press inside. When you hear a click, the cover is open. Use a small screwdriver to remove the worn battery and take a new one of the same type to replace it. Refit the cover on your key fob by pressing on the key case until you hear the locking click. Check that the key functions correctly.
