How to Open the Hood on a Mercedes CLA

Did you just get your new car and don't know how to open the hood (engine)? Let's see how to open the hood on your Mercedes CLA. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard (red color), then, lift the hood slightly and pull the release lever to the left. Once the hood is released, lift it up and secure it with the prop rod. Now that you have opened the hood, you can perform your necessary maintenance. To close the hood: remove the safety rod and let the hood drop down from a minimal height. Ensure it is properly closed.
