How to update the GPS of the Mercedes SLK

Today we will explain how to update the GPS maps on a Mercedes SLK model R 171 vehicle. To perform the update, turn on the instrument panel and the onboard computer. Then, open the trunk and remove the DVD. Insert the new DVD with the files downloaded previously and get inside the vehicle to wait for the progress of the map file updates to load. Once the update is complete, the onboard computer will restart automatically. At that point, simply press the map button to access the new GPS functions.
