How to reset the car radio on the Mercedes SL.

To reset the system of the 2004 Mercedes SL radio, you work directly on the central monitor. With the car stationary, turn the ignition on and power on the radio until the Mercedes logo appears on the screen. Using the buttons located on the sides of the display, access the "System" menu, which is visible at the bottom of the screen. Once you enter the system menu, on the left side you will see the options "Time," "Language," "Tone," "Display," while on the right you will find the buttons "Restore" and "Back." Select "Restore": a warning message will appear stating "Data loss! All data will be erased. Do you want to proceed with the restore?" with the options "Yes" and "No." Move the cursor to "Yes" and confirm. The display will show the message "All data has been restored. The COMAND system is restarting," then the screen will turn off, and the unit will automatically reboot. Once the reboot is complete, the COMAND system will be operational again, and all personal radio settings will be reset to factory values.
