Follow these steps to replace the battery in the key fob of a Mercedes A 160: Take your key fob and press the metal key release button; once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key fits).

Pry until the cover opens.

Remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver; take a new one of the same size and voltage. Press the key case until you hear it click into place.

Finally, check the key fob's functionality by pressing the buttons.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
