In this video you will be able to see how to remove some of the accessory panels placed inside a door of a Mercedes w221. You can start with the cover of the audio speaker: with a plastic tip move the cover slightly to the left and at the same time pull it out with the other hand. After removing the protective plastic, disconnect the speaker power cable. Then you can remove the plastic cover that covers the door's electrical connections and then proceed to disconnect the connections themselves. In this area remember to unscrew one of the screws securing the main door panel. In the recess of the left armrest there is another panel; you can detach it with a slight twist exerted by means of a plastic spatula in the lower slot of the panel itself. Two other main fixing screws will be discovered: proceed to unscrew them. Finally, remove the door lock cover by simply unscrewing the fixing screw.
