How to Remove Some Interior Panels from a Door

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009

In this video, you will see how to disassemble some of the accessory panels located inside the door of a Mercedes W221. Start with the audio diffuser cover: use a plastic trim tool to gently pry the cover to the left while simultaneously pulling it out with your other hand. After removing the protective plastic, disconnect the power cable of the diffuser. Next, remove the plastic cover that conceals the electrical connections in the door, and then proceed to disconnect those connections. In this area, remember to unscrew one of the screws that secure the main door panel. In the recess of the left armrest, there is another panel; you can detach it with a slight twist using a plastic spatula in the lower gap of the panel. This will reveal two more main fastening screws: proceed to unscrew them. Finally, remove the door lock cover by simply unscrewing its fastening screw.
