How to Locate the Fuse Boxes in a Mercedes C-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe C W205 - Years 2014-2021
Part: Fuse box

In the Mercedes C-Class, the fuses are located in several places in the car; in the engine compartment, on the left side near the battery, there is the main fuse box and power connections protected by a plastic cover: here you will find the main fuses for the electrical system and important relays such as those for the engine, headlights, and other high-load systems. Inside the cabin, there are two fuse boxes: the first is located on the driver’s side of the dashboard, accessible with the door open by removing the plastic panel, and contains fuses for many interior utilities; the second is in the passenger footwell, behind a cover, and serves additional circuits such as heated seats or auxiliary modules. Finally, there is also a fuse box in the trunk, on the right side under the floor.

How to Adjust the Handbrake on a BMW 1 Series?

To adjust the handbrake on a BMW 1 Series, use a tool to pry off the leather cover that wraps around the base of the handbrake lever. Once this cover is removed, you will be able to locate the spring that regulates the handbrake tension. At this point, adjust the nut located at the base of the spring: tightening the nut will make the handbrake firmer and reduce the lever's travel. Conversely, loosening the nut will decrease the handbrake's firmness and increase the lever's travel.
