How to Open the Fuel Cap on a Mercedes Benz GLK

To open the fuel cap on a Mercedes-Benz GLK, get into the vehicle and ensure the doors are unlocked via remote or internal control. Exit the vehicle and locate the fuel flap, positioned on the rear side of the bodywork. Press lightly on its surface: the pressure mechanism allows it to open without using levers or internal buttons. Once the flap is open, unscrew the tank cap by turning it counterclockwise until it is completely free. During refuelling, you can hook the cap onto the designated internal support. Once finished, screw the cap back on by turning it clockwise until it clicks into place. Finally, close the flap by pressing until it locks securely.
