Let's see how to remove the mirror from an external mirror on a Mercedes E-Class. Use a lever (with a plastic or rubber coating) to pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Pry until the glass detaches from the mirror (disconnect the power cable). Remove the mirror cover, and replace the damaged part with the new one. Be careful to engage the plastic snap clips into the cover supports during the installation of the new mirror. Remove the turn signal from the housing if you need to replace it.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
