How do you remove the exterior mirror of the Mercedes E-Class? Let's see how to take off the mirror. Remove the inner trim piece of the mirror using a plastic trim tool, then unscrew the mounting bolts with a socket wrench. Once the mounting bolts are removed, take off the mirror along with the electrical wires. Install the new mirror onto the car door, pass the operating wires through, and tighten the mounting screws. Secure the cover plastic inside the door. After installing the mirror, adjust it using the dedicated buttons.
