How to Adjust the Height of the Rear Hatch on a Mercedes GLE

Let's see how to adjust the height of the rear hatch on a Mercedes GLE. This is a very useful procedure to avoid hitting the ceiling of low garages with the hatch. Open the hatch and use the button located on the hatch itself, allowing it to open to the factory height. While it is moving, press the button: it will stop immediately at the position it is in. Manually guide the hatch to the exact height you want to set as the new maximum, then press and hold the hatch closing button for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep confirming that the height has been saved. The next time you open the hatch, it will stop at the height you have set.
