Resetting the service light on a Mercedes Vito W639 is an operation you can do yourself (after performing maintenance, such as oil changes, filters, etc.). The simplest method is using the onboard computer and the buttons on the steering wheel. Turn on the ignition, press the button with the up arrow on the steering wheel until the display shows "service". Press the "ok" button to enter the menu and using the up/down arrows, navigate to the options "service A" or "service B" to select the type of service just performed: you will be asked for confirmation, to which you should respond affirmatively. The display will show "service reset". Remove the key, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on to check that the light is off.
