How to Change the Engine Oil of the Mercedes E-Class Model W 212

Today, you will learn how to change the engine oil of the Mercedes E-Class model W 212 independently. To facilitate the change, lift the vehicle on a jack and using an electric wrench with an 8mm bit, remove all the bolts on the lower cover of the vehicle. With an 18mm wrench, remove the nut from the oil pan and allow the used oil to drain into a plastic container. Once finished, close the nut and lower the vehicle to the ground. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the engine cover and with an oil filter wrench, take off the cover of the filter housing. Replace the oil filter and reinstall the engine cover.
