Operation: How to replace the engine oil filter of the Mercedes W124.

Replacing the oil filter on the Mercedes W124 is a very simple operation. First, you will need to open the engine hood and unscrew the oil tank cap to remove the dipstick and check the oil level. Then, unscrew the filter housing cap with a 13mm socket wrench and remove the oil container. At this point, lift the car and let the oil drain from the oil pan by unscrewing it with a 12mm wrench. After draining the oil, close the oil pan and lower the car. Install a new filter element in the filter housing and close everything as shown in the video.
