How to Change Oil and Filters on the Mercedes E-Class W211

Model: Mercedes Classe E W213 - Years 2016-2023

Changing the oil and filters on the W211 requires removing the lower covers (8 mm bolts). Remove the drain plug (13 mm) and let the oil drain out. The oil filter is removed with a 76/14 wrench; tighten the cover to 18 lb-ft. The capacity is 6 quarts. Replace the air filter by disengaging five clips; the cabin filter is accessible after removing a 10 mm plastic nut and the panel. The fuel filter (Febi 34178, original code A646920501) is located under the hood. Disengage the clips and hoses (different diameters, you can't go wrong). After replacement, prime the system by turning on the ignition: the pump will fill the filter. Reassemble everything and check for leaks.
