How do you remove the original radio from a Mercedes A-Class? Watch this video to see how to disassemble the original stereo in question. Remove the stereo's trim frame using a plastic lever (under the air vents) and detach it from the center console. Remove the air vents and the climate control panel. Once the stereo is free from constraints, use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located on its sides. Extract the stereo by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). To reinstall, reverse the disassembly steps.
