How to change the glow plugs on a Mercedes Vito? Let's see the disassembly. Pull the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel; also disassemble the air box (if necessary). Extract the coil by hand and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the glow plugs located in the engine. Take the new glow plug and insert it into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Refit the cylinder head cover panel at the end of the assembly.
