How to change the glow plugs on a Mercedes vito? Let's see the disassembly. We pull the engine compartment opening lever at the bottom of the dashboard and lift the front hood, let's put it in safety. We remove the engine soundproofing panel; we also disassemble the air box (if necessary). We extract the coil with our hands and rotate it in a twist way, until it comes out of the head. We unscrew the glow plugs located in the engine with a socket wrench. We take the new glow plug and insert it into the cylinder head with the socket wrench. We mount the head cover panel at the end of assembly.
