How do you replace the engine spark plugs in a Mercedes A-Class? Let's see how to proceed. Open the hood and lift it up, secure it, then disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the coils located inside the engine bay using a screwdriver; then, use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and insert them into the cylinder head using the socket extension, tighten them, and reconnect the ignition coils. Finally, close the hood and test their proper functioning by starting the car.
