How to change the spark plugs on a Mercedes A-Class W168? Let's see it in this video. Open the hood and remove the metal bracket that secures the ignition coils to the engine, then take off the plastic cover from the ignition coils.

Using a socket wrench and a 12 mm Torx bit, unscrew the two screws holding the ignition coil assembly, which will allow you to carefully remove the coils. Remember that this is a rather fragile component, so handle it with care; if possible, do not disconnect them.

Then, using a 16 mm socket, loosen the spark plug and finish unscrewing it by hand. Proceed to insert the new spark plug, which you will screw in by hand, and then tighten it with a torque wrench to the manufacturer's specified torque; replace the coil block, then tighten the two screws holding the coil assembly, reattach the plastic cover and the metal bracket, and screw the two screws back in. Operation completed.
