How to Remove the Instrument Cluster on a Mercedes Viano

To remove the instrument cluster on a Mercedes Viano, let's see how to take the piece out. Unscrew the screws located in the plastic trim of the steering wheel with a screwdriver and remove the cover from the instrument cluster. Unscrew the securing screws of the instrument cluster with a socket wrench; after removing the screws, pull the piece out from the dashboard and disconnect the power cable located at the back of the instrument cluster. Install the new instrument cluster (replace the LEDs/bulbs in the cluster) and reconnect the power. Turn on the ignition with the key and check if it lights up.
