How to Remove the Rear Headlight on a Mercedes C-Class

Replace the rear headlight on a Mercedes C-Class if damaged. Follow these steps. Lift the trunk lid and secure it. Use a plastic or metal pry tool to remove the retaining clips located inside above the trunk lining. Once the clips are removed from the top, take off the cover caps of the plastic bar that accesses the trunk. Unscrew the screws in the plastic lining and remove the retaining nuts of the headlight. Pull the headlight out of the vehicle by hand. Position the headlight back onto the vehicle and tighten all screws around it and above the plastic bar.
