How to Reset Engine Light on Mercedes SLK

Reset the engine light if it appears on the instrument panel of a Mercedes SLK; here’s how to clear it. This operation is very simple: enter the vehicle and turn on the ignition. Use the buttons on the left of the instrument panel; a menu will appear. Once in the settings menu, scroll up/down with the buttons until you find the maintenance message. Select the data on the steering wheel (as shown in the video) and turn off the engine light. Exit the settings menu. Check the instrument panel by turning it off and on with the Mercedes ignition key.
