Replacing the air filter on a Mercedes C-Class? Here’s how to do it. The cabin air filter is located at the bottom right of the glove compartment. Get a screwdriver and remove the screws securing the cover plastic. Use a plastic trim tool to pry off the cover located at the lower right of the dashboard, remove the cap from the filter housing, then pull out the worn cabin air filter. Insert a new cabin air filter, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the housing. Reattach the filter housing cap and tighten the screws. Check that all parts are properly installed on the Mercedes C-Class.
