How to Remove the Radio from a Mercedes A-Class

Is the radio in your Mercedes A-Class to be replaced? Here’s how to remove it from above the dashboard. To remove the radio, you need to take out the air vents located in the center console (left and right vents). Pry out the air vents with a plastic lever. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws located in the slots of the air vents. Grasp the radio with your hands and pull it out of its slot (after disconnecting the power and antenna cables). To reinstall the radio and its parts, proceed in reverse order. Insert the new radio, screw in the screws, and reinstall the air vents.
