To unlock the radio of the Mercedes A-Class, first find the radio unlock code. The code can be found in the vehicle's instruction manual or on the "Mercedes Radio code" website.

The first step to unlock the radio is to turn on the ignition and use the radio power button to display the word CODE on the screen. Then, using the volume knob, enter the code; press the knob after each number to confirm, and then press the same button for a few seconds.

Once the procedure is completed, the radio will function normally.
