Removing the Radio from a Mercedes C-Class

How to remove the radio from a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see how to take off the trim pieces to extract the radio. Remove the shift knob trim using a plastic pry tool.

Take out the air vents located above the radio and pull out the ashtray from below. Once the stereo is free of any trim pieces, use a screwdriver to remove the securing screws on either side.

Pull the stereo out with your hands and disconnect the wires (power and antenna). Choose the new radio and connect the electrical terminals.

Install the radio with all the mounting pieces.
