How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Mercedes A-Class

Start by removing the battery and the entire air filter assembly. Next, remove the upper and lower engine covers by unscrewing the bolts that secure them. At this point, you can remove the starter motor. Once the starter motor is removed, proceed to remove the left front wheel, then take out the wheel well liner. This will give you the necessary space to access the cover that protects the belts, which you will remove to reach the timing belt. To remove the belt, simply loosen the pulley and then take it off, completing the disassembly. To install the new belt and reassemble everything, follow these instructions in reverse, successfully completing the replacement.
