Want to remove the instrument cluster from a Mercedes? Here’s how to take the instrument panel out from the dashboard. Use a lever to remove the cover plastics above the vent on the left side of the dashboard: unlock the retaining clips located behind the cover piece. Unscrew the retaining screws of the instrument cluster, disconnect it from above the dashboard along with the power cable at the back. Install a new instrument cluster or remove the existing one for repair or to replace the bulbs. Secure all side covers to the instrument cluster.
