Want to remove the instrument cluster from a Mercedes CLK? Here’s how to take the instrument panel out from the dashboard. Use a lever to remove the plastics from under the steering wheel and start removing the instrument cluster: unlock the retaining clips located behind the cover piece. Disconnect the instrument cluster from above the dashboard along with the power cable at the back. Install a new instrument cluster or remove the existing one for repair or to replace the bulbs. Connect the electrical connector behind the instrument cluster and secure it in the dashboard.
