How to Remove the Glove Compartment of a Mercedes CLK

In this video, learn how to remove the glove compartment (where the ashtray is located) from the dashboard of a Mercedes CLK. Use a plastic lever to pry off the edge on the dashboard. After removing the plastic cover, detach the glove compartment using a screwdriver from the dashboard where the cover was removed earlier. Once this is done, pull out the glove compartment and disconnect the power cables. Finally, insert the new part into the central dashboard compartment, refit all components of the glove compartment as they were removed earlier.
