Removing the Side Air Vent

Model: Mercedes Clk A208, W208, C208 - Years 1997-2003

Follow the step-by-step images to understand how to replace the side air vents. Start by removing the cover on the sides of the dashboard and then unscrew the screw. Under the glove compartment, unscrew the screws and remove the air filter from the ventilation system. Once the filter is removed, unscrew the outer screws of the glove compartment. Now open the drawer and unscrew the upper and lower screws found under the protective caps. Extract the drawer, unscrew the screws, and detach the section of the dashboard. At this point, unscrew the screw inside the vent on the upper side and the other external one on the lower side. Remove the vent by disconnecting any electrical connectors. Car model: Mercedes W208 CLK
Required tools: cross screwdriver, 8mm socket wrench.
