Replacing License Plate Lights on Mercedes C

How to replace the license plate bulbs on a Mercedes C? Here’s how to remove the light assembly and change the bulbs. Remove the securing screws on the sides of the license plate light assembly, then pry between the lens cover and the trunk surface (without breaking the plastic). Pull the bulbs to be replaced out from the lens. Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same size and voltage). Reinstall the plastic in its housing with the associated parts. Screw in the screws above the license plate light assembly. Test the illumination of the license plate bulbs once everything is reassembled.
