Replacing the license plate bulbs on a Mercedes C-Class. Let's see how to do it. Open and lift the trunk lid. Remove the retaining clips around the inner panel of the trunk lid (unscrew the retaining screws). Detach the cover panel and then the plastic light fixture inserted in the rear trunk lid of the vehicle. Once the light fixture is removed, extract the bulb holder with your fingers, then remove the bulb from it. Install the new bulb (same size and voltage) into the bulb holder, then reattach the light fixture to the trunk lid. Finally, reinstall the cover panel of the trunk lid.
