- Years 2000-2007 To access the battery, as shown in the video, it may be necessary to remove the air filter. Once this is done, disconnect the two poles by unscrewing them with a 10 mm wrench (remember to always start by disconnecting the negative pole). Insulate them both with paper tape and unscrew the two 13mm bolts that secure the battery to the bottom bracket. Once you get here, you can take out the battery. Obviously proceed backwards for reassembly, then inserting the battery in its seat, screwing the fixing bolts and connecting the two poles. Check the correct functioning of the new battery.
