How to Replace the Cabin Fan Resistor on a Mercedes-Benz A-Class?

To replace the cabin fan resistor on a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, remove the plastic panel located under the glove compartment on the passenger side. To remove it, loosen two screws that secure it. Once the panel is removed, lower the left side of the carpet, behind which there will be a connector attached to four colored wires. By pressing on the clips of the connector, you can pull the resistor out of its housing. Once it is removed, you can replace it.
