Replacing the Engine Air Filter on the Mercedes GLK

Model: Mercedes Glk MK 1 - Years 2008-2015

Lift the front bonnet and secure it. Unscrew the front fastener of the engine compartment by 90 degrees to access the engine air filter box. Remove the screws holding it closed. Once done, open the compartment and extract the filter. While you're at it, clean the inside of the box with an air compressor. Insert the new filter element equivalent to the original and proceed in reverse, tightening the compartment and screwing in the screws. Reattach the engine cover and you're done. As you can see, it is a simple operation.
