How to Remove the Interior Handle of the Mercedes Benz E270 (W211)

This guide shows how to replace the interior handle of the Mercedes Benz E 270 (W211). First, open the door and disconnect the speaker support from the mirror and the plastic panel on the side of the door. Remove the plastics from the handle and the door panel. Unscrew the screws securing the panel and pull it to detach it. Be careful not to pull too hard to avoid damaging the connections behind. Disconnect the handle actuator cable. Unscrew the screws securing the handle lever and remove it. Installing the new part is the reverse of disassembly. Check the proper operation of the lever and the lock.
