The guide shows how to replace the interior handle of the Mercedes Benz E 270 (W211). The first step is to open the door and remove the speaker support from the mirror and the plastic panel on the side of the door. Remove the plastic from the door handle and door panel. Unscrew the panel fixing screws and pull it to release it. Be careful not to pull too hard to avoid damaging the connections behind. Disconnect the handle operating cable. Unscrew the fixing screws of the handle lever and remove it. The installation of the new piece is like disassembly but backwards. Check the correct operation of the lever and the lock.
