Trunk Lock Replacement on Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Door lock

Lift the trunk lid and use a plastic trim tool to remove the side clips as shown in the first image of the video. Repeat the same operation using a small flathead screwdriver on the central supports. Remove the supports. Unscrew the six T25 Torx screws located at the top of the trunk lid and remove the cover around the lock. Remove the clips and the cover secured by them. Once the trunk panel is removed, disconnect the various cables and the lock by unscrewing the mounting bolts. Follow the reverse order for reassembly.
