Now access the plastic cover that conceals the filter. Unclip and remove the cover; extract the filter using a sharp object to pry it out. It is better not to clean the filter but to replace it with a new one; instead, clean the compartment thoroughly before placing the new filter. After reinserting the filter, reattach the plastic cover and reposition the carpet.
