How to Replace the Engine Air Filter

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013
Part: Air filter

To replace the air filter, lift the hood and remove the plastic cover over the engine as shown in the video. Now disconnect the three hoses: two large ones on the left and right, plus one small one in the center. Next, unclip the clip at the back of the filter housing. Remove the entire filter housing, being careful of any other clips. Once the filter housing is removed, turn it upside down and start unscrewing the screws on the right and left sides. (The video shows the filter change on only one side). Pull out the filters from both sides and clean everything before reinstalling the new filters. Reinsert the filters by closing and screwing back the two filter housing covers. Reinstall the complete filter housing onto the engine by reattaching the clips, including the main one at the back. Reconnect the three hoses and put the other part of the engine cover back in place. Make: Mercedes Model: C300 Year: 2008-13
Tools needed: screwdriver or power screwdriver with a star bit.
