How to remove the air filter from a Mercedes C-Class? Let's see how to take it out from inside the engine compartment. The cabin air filter is located at the bottom right of the center tunnel. Open and lift the hood. Remove the screws above the air filter and disconnect the control unit, then open the air filter housing. Take out the cabin filter from its designated area. Insert a new air filter into the housing, install the filter box cover, and secure the plastics with the control unit. Check the proper installation of the previously mounted parts. Start the vehicle and perform a test.
