How to Install the Battery in a Mercedes A-Class 180 and Where to Find It

The video illustrates how to change the battery in a Mercedes A-Class 180 CDI. The battery is located under the passenger seat; as the first step, push the seat all the way forward and remove the 2 screws that secure the seat slide. Once the seat is moved, remove the air vent cover by simply pulling it towards you, lift one last cover, and the battery will be fully visible. The recommended main battery, NOT SECONDARY, by the shops is a 100AH 12V, so to remove it, just unscrew the 2 screws that secure the mounting plate.
