The guide shows how to replace the diesel filter of the Mercedes Benz A-Class 180 CDI W176. The location of the fuel filter is in the engine compartment near the shock absorber terminal, under the windshield on the left side. The first step is to disconnect the battery. Then it is necessary to disconnect the electrical connector of the filter and the hydraulic fuel hoses. Unscrew the fixing bolt of the filter clamp with a socket wrench and remove the old filter element. Install the new filter and reassemble all disconnected parts. Reconnect the battery and start the engine to fill the filter with fuel. Turn on the vehicle a few times to circulate all the fuel in the pipes.
