To replace the axle boot on a Mercedes A-Class, lift the car using a jack or a lift so that the corresponding wheel is off the ground. Then, loosen the bolts that secure the wheel, completely removing it to access the components at the rear of the hub. Here, you can unscrew the bolts that attach the hub to the remaining parts of the front suspension, freeing the axle. Once the wheel is removed, take out the old axle boot to install a new one.
