Replacing the Valve Cover Gasket

Model: Mercedes Classe C W202 - Years 1993-2000

Before applying the new gasket to the valve cover, it is essential to thoroughly clean the gasket seating, both on the cylinder head side and under the cover, to remove any dirt and buildup that could affect the adhesion and sealing of the gasket. Once the cleaning phase is complete, insert the gasket into the groove along the edges of the cover and at the central area (injector seating); once the gaskets are in place, position the cover and tighten the fastening bolts; then apply the new gaskets to the bottom of the injectors and install them by placing them in the center of the valve cover.
