To replace the heat exchanger in the Mercedes M-Class, you will need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. Remove all components of the engine block until you reach the banks. Here, you will locate the heat exchanger, which can be removed from its housing by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the oil pipe attached to it. This will allow you to completely remove the old exchanger and insert and secure the new one. Finally, reinstall all previously removed components.
