When you find yourself in the situation of having to replace the battery of your Mercedes A-Class (W176), there is no need to worry and you will not need special tools, following this video in fact you can carry out the operation safely in your garage. First we open and lift the engine hood and remove the plastic protective cover of the battery (as shown in the video). At this point we disconnect the two terminals (positive and negative pole), with a socket wrench and remove the terminal board together with the control unit. Now we can remove the worn battery, pulling it up and replacing it with the new one (of the same amperage). Now we just have to reassemble everything, applying the reverse procedure!
