How to Activate the "Rest Mode" Function for Battery Saving on Our Mercedes

Learn how to maintain the charge level of your Mercedes battery during a period of inactivity. If the vehicle remains unused for more than 4 weeks, the battery can lose charge. However, you can activate the "rest mode" during which it can stay inactive for up to 6 weeks without any issues. Scroll through the menu on the infotainment screen until you reach the "settings" menu. Select it, then the "vehicle" submenu, where you will also see "rest mode", which is a function available only with the key inserted and the engine off. Once you select this mode, the vehicle will activate it instantly. To deactivate it, simply turn on the ignition. You can also save battery on the key: just press the lock button twice in quick succession. To restore the functions, press any button or place the key on the centre console.
