To reset the Service light on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, navigate through the menu that appears on the instrument cluster using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. When you reach the option showing the miles remaining until the next maintenance, press and hold the buttons on the bottom of the left side and the one on the top of the right side.

This will correctly reset the Service light, and you can turn off the instrument cluster by turning the key. You can also verify that the reset was successful by turning the cluster back on.
