Let's see how to change the side glass on a Mercedes CLK. First, open the front door, and remove the external chrome seal, using a plastic spatula to avoid damaging the bodywork. Now remove the metal plate that holds the glass seals in place. Next, you need to remove the inner panel, starting from the plastic cover that hides the screw holding the panel. Remove the rubber seal on the outer part of the door; this will give you access to the pressure plastics, which you can push outwards to open. Remove the rear seatbelt mechanism from its housing. At this point, the panel will come off. Lower the glass, remove the side glass seal, and then the one surrounding it from the inside and outside. Raise the glass and take it out.
